Your best bet if you want to do a DIY travel of Catanduanes is to hire a tricycle or motorbike. Because while jeeps are available, their trip schedules are unreliable, and they are almost always full. During my last trip to Catanduanes, I even had the whole beach to myself, and I am not talking about 1 beach, but about 3-4 beaches that I visited!
